School tour to Lough Key Forest Park

On Wednesday 31st of May, we went on our school tour to Lough Key forest park to do Bóda Borg and the canopy tree walk. It was great fun. Some people went there before so they knew how to do some of the rooms. It`s basically a big building with 47 rooms and 15 quests. There could be 3 or 4 rooms in one quest so if you get to the second room and fail you have to start from the very beginning again. You can do it as many times as you want. When your team gets to the last room there will be a box with a stamper in it and you stamp your card to show you have completed it. We had about 2 hours to complete as many rooms as possible. It was such fun. We were put into girl`s groups and boy`s groups. It was so great being with your friends doing challenges because some are hard and others are really easy. We all had to either jump, crawl or duck to avoid objects. We all had a great time, so good that we didn’t want it to end. After all of that we ate our lunch on the picnic benches and got back on the bus. We went shopping in Quayside. We split into two groups boys and girls. Everyone got ice-cream. It was so much fun and we came home with many shopping bags.
It was  an amazing day.
